About Plantation Preserve Community

Our Community

Plantation Preserve community is located in beautiful South Fort Myers, Florida. The community has one hundred and forty-one quality built homes designed and crafted by D.R. Horton Homes between 2003 - 2005. The quiet neighborhood is located next to a small nature preserve with tall cypress and pine trees where white and blue herons rest their wings. In the center of the community is a lake which gives many of the homes the added feature of waterside living. For leisure and fun in the sun is a large crystal clear community pool. Around the perimeter of the community is a sidewalk where friendly neighbors walk or ride their bicycles on a daily basis.

Our Natural Preserve

Our nature preserve is a protected wildlife habitat area of geological interest. The preserve provides a beautiful natural view for about 10 of the 141 homes. It is located on the northwest corner by the front gate entrance and behind the community pool. On different occasions, bald eagles, white egrets, blue herons, and other Florida wildlife can be seen wading in the water or perched in the tall cypress and pine trees.
